The rise and rise of the Nanny Housekeeper
Until recently, the role of the nanny and the role of the housekeeper were two separate roles undertaken by two very different people.
The nanny only ever dealt with childcare and everything related to the children of the house, while the housekeeper took on all management of the cleaning, cooking, laundry, running errands, and sometimes PA duties as well.
However, in today’s world, pure nanny roles and much harder to find as families have discovered it is much more cost effective to have a combined role of “nanny housekeeper”.
