Our lovely Client based in Petts Wood, Kent are looking for a Nanny to cover Maternity for a Temporary period.
The family are open, down to earth and sociable and they are looking for someone with a similar outlook.
The children are 9, 7 and 2.5. The key responsibilities will be picking up the older children from school , looking after the 2 year old and taking him to activities, helping supervise homework and reading, preparing healthy family type dinners and helping with bath time. The family do have a housekeeper, but they are looking for the nanny to take on nursery duties such as changing the children’s bedding, doing the children’s laundry, keeping the playroom tidy and rotating the toys, keeping bedrooms clean and tidy, unpacking bags at the end of the day and making sure they are organised and prepared for the next day.
A driver is essential, but a car is available to use whilst on duty.
The ideal candidate would be proactive, organised, nurturing and patient, be able to follow the established routines and reinforce boundaries and rules to ensure consistency within the household.
This role is sole charge, but the parents do like to help out with school runs and after school activities and like to form a collaborative and supportive team with the Nanny.
Location of the job: Petts Wood, Kent.
Minimum experience Level for this job: 2 years childcare experience, 1st aid certificate and Enhanced DBS.
Details of any qualifications needed for this job: Level 3 childcare qualification.
Hours of work: 7.30 am – 7.30pm Days required: Monday – Thursday.
Driving required: Yes
Job Start Date: Monday 4th September
Pay: £17/18
